Dr. Asif Ali Arain is a distinguished ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon, currently serving as the Head of Department, ENT at The Indus Hospital, where he performs advanced surgical procedures, including cochlear implants, head and neck cancer surgeries, thyroid/parathyroid operations, and endoscopic sinus surgeries. With a strong academic foundation, he holds a Fellowship from the European Board of Otolaryngology (2013), an FCPS in ENT from the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (2011), a DLO from Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, and an MBBS from Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (2000). His international experience includes a tenure as Assistant Professor at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Riyadh (2012–2017), where he managed complex ENT and oncology cases, conducted independent surgeries, and contributed to medical education.

Dr. Arain specializes in cochlear implantation, head & neck oncology, endoscopic sinus surgery, thyroid/parathyroid procedures, and pediatric ENT care, with a focus on multidisciplinary cancer management. An active researcher, he has multiple peer-reviewed publications and has presented at conferences in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, earning accolades such as the “Best Research Presentation Award” at The Aga Khan University. During his time as Chief Resident at The Aga Khan University Hospital, he performed over 500 surgeries while mentoring junior doctors and leading clinical teams.
